About the show
This year we present ‘Sleeping Beauty’, a NODA pantomime written by Toby Bradford and Tina Webster. For the first year ever we have on-line booking system which has proved a great success and our first night is reserved for over 100 Brownies, celebrating their centenary.

Sleeping Beauty is a novel twist on a traditional tale. Deadly Nightshade casts an evil spell on Princess Rose at her christening party, (Val Smith in her favourite role as villain and Bea Walker in her first main role as Princess Rose). However, as everybody knows the curse is changed by the Lilac Fairy, though in our version we have three – Catherine Walker, Sheila Ross and nice but dim Fairy Lupin played by Brian Deverell. The traditional duo of Dame Winifred Slaptickle is played by Barry Thomas and her help mate and hindrance is the Court Jester (Daisy Fermor). Jessica Sacco plays Prince William.
